Biomimicry: The Sincerest Form of Flattery
Since the dawn of time, humankind has looked to nature for inspiration. From the tragedy of Icarus to modern building designs, biomimicry probably shouldn't be thought of as a new concept. When looking for inspiration you can't go wrong with millions of years of bio-mechanical trial and error. The do or die history of life on Earth has led to some truly remarkable engineering feats in nature. It should come as no surprise then, that designers, engineers and architects are increasingly taking inspiration from the world around us.
Nature's bounty has inspired buildings, trains, prosthetics, robots and even fashion accessories.

Will We Ever Have a Supersonic Commercial Jet Again?
Ever since the final flight of the Concorde in 2003 due to skyrocketing costs, supersonic flight has only been available to the top military pilots. However, it looks like supersonic planes may once again be making their way into the market. So, will we soon see the days of commercial supersonic travel again? Maybe.
From January 21, 1976 to October 24, 2003, the world had supersonic commercial flights on the Concorde. Geologists May Have Discovered a New Continent Called 'Zealandia'
How many continents are there on Earth? Seven right? Well, actually it is, but only for geologists or is it now five? Contrary to common practice, geologists tend to group Europe and Asia into one super-continent called Eurasia. You can also include Africa to make a four continent world as well, and the Americas into one. But fear not, their historic total of six, or is it four, is also apparently wrong. A new study might just mean that current geography textbooks need to be thrown out. Welcome the Earth's brand new, well newly discovered, continent 'Zealandia'.
Let's take a quick look at the new "kid on the block" in the continent club.

Google CEO Responds to 7-Year-Old's Letter Asking for a Job
Plenty of kids write letters or send messages to their heroes daily. However, few expect such interesting replies, if they even receive a reply at all. Seven-year-old Chloe Bridgewater sent her letter to "Google boss" Sundar Pichai to request a job at Google.

Her father shared the letter with Business Insider, and Chloe's letter has been going viral with its simple tenacity.
Dear Google Boss,
My name is Chloe and when I am bigger I would like a job with Google.
