Nokia 3.1 Plus Android Pie update starts rolling out
 After releasing Android 9.0 (Pie) beta update for the 2.1 and Nokia 6 last week, HMD Global has released Pie update for its Nokia 3.1, which comes after a month of delay even though it had promised it in January. The phone was released back in October last year running Android 8.1 (Oreo). Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 675, 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor gets certified ahead of launch
 Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be announced this week in China. Now the smartphone has been certified by TENAA with the model number M1901F7BE. It already confirmed that it will feature Sony IMX586 sensor replacing the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor on the Redmi Note 7. It also reveals 2GHz Octa-Core SoC that confirms it will be powered by Snapdragon 675, compared to Snapdragon 660 on the Redmi Note 7. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. TENAA doesn't confirm secondary rear camera resolution, so it is not clear if this will come with a better sensor compared to 5MP secondary camera on the Note 7. OnePlus launches "5G Apps of Tomorrow" programme, top 5 app developers get 50,000 Euros
 OnePlus at its MWC event announced the launch of "5G Apps of Tomorrow" programme to support and galvanize creators around the world to develop a new 5G application that would benefit users. OnePlus aims to integrate industry resources and support the design of future 5G apps with talented developers. At the event OnePlus CEO Pete Lau was joined by Qualcomm President, Cristiano R. Amon, and EE CEO, Marc Allera where the they discussed the future and possibilities of 5G. ASUS Zenfone 6 to be announced on May 16 in Spain
 After leaks, ASUS has officially confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Zenfone 6 series smartphones at an event in Valencia, Spain on May 16th. Even though its Zenfone 5 series were introduced at the MWC last year, this year the company has decided to launch it couple of months after MWC. Xiaomi partners with Light for advanced computational imaging solutions for smartphones
 Light and Xiaomi Corporation have announced an agreement to jointly develop and market new imaging solutions for smartphones. The partnership will see Light bring together its advanced computational imaging technology with Xiaomi's high-end smartphone devices. This agreement will enable both the companies to bring to market multi-camera smart devices with DSLR-level capabilities. Light has recently inked a deal with Sony for multi-camera application for smartphones with four or more cameras. Even the latest Nokia 9 PureView uses Light's technology.
